Stark Library Perry-Sippo Branch and Stark Parks partner on Dec. 2, 2023 from 5 to 8 p.m. to welcome guests of honor, Mr. & Mrs. Claus to kick-off a season of giving at Sippo Lake Park.  The event is co-sponsored by Perry Twp. Rotary Club and Friends of Stark Parks.

Start at the Exploration Gateway or Wildlife Conservation Center and travel between event areas.  You can drive and park at each, walk the lighted stroller-friendly trail (10 minutes or less), or catch a ride on the trackless train traveling both directions. The Train Ride has a cost of $1 (cash) per person, per one-way ride (limited seating). Dress for the weather and being outside.

Take your own picture with Santa Claus and participate in crafts and activities.  Light concessions for sale (cash only).
Arrive early at 4:30 p.m. to enjoy "T'was the Night Before Christmas" around the fireplace in the library.  A Toys for Tots donation bin for new, unwrapped, gifts for children is located in the atrium.

Watch wildlife ambassador animals open and enjoy their gifts already dropped off by Santa.   Play games and enjoy activities at this location as well.

Give Gifts to Help Wildlife

Help fill the stockings of wildlife ambassadors and rehabilitation patients at the Wildlife Conservation Center by using the Wish List or Amazon Wish List. Needed items include enrichment items, food and supplies, and care necessities and can be sent directly to the Center, mailed in, or brought before or during the event.  Five common items include: Baby Blankets, Non-auto shut off heating pads, Vet wrap bandages, Laundry Detergent, and PBS Animal Health or Pet store gift cards.
