Towpath Trail Construction Work in Massillon
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers began an ongoing levee project near the Tuscarawas River in August 2020. This is a long term project that will affect this section of the Towpath Trail through 2022.
As of July 13, 2022, the Towpath Trail is closed between Warmington Rd. (John Glenn Grove). Access at Tremont Ave. and Lincoln Way viaducts are also closed. Please obey all construction and safety signs and be cautious of unpredictable trail conditions.
