FeLeap’s Frogtastic Birthday Month
March is for the frogs! FeLeap invites you to help celebrate his birthday as ambassador/mascot of Stark Parks with the following on your own and guided activities showcasing more about his species.
On Your Own Activities
Frog-themed activities inside the Canalway Center at Sippo Lake Park include games and informative activities centered around the world of frogs! Flip through the FeLeap scrap book and learn about his history too! Open Mon to Sat., 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays 1 to 4 p.m. *May not be available some Saturdays between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. while Down to Earth Yoga is in session.

Hop around Stark Parks to locate answers and trivia at FeLeap signs hidden at the following parks and trail locations.
Sippo Lake Park-West in the Cottonwood Trail area
Fichtner Park-Along the short loop trail
Devonshire Park - Along the short loop trail
Quail Hollow Park - Along the Purple Trail behind the Manor House. Take the first left off the Nature for All Trail (asphalt) where the P2 sign is and head toward the boardwalk.
Ohio & Erie Towpath Trail - Lock 4 Trailhead area (remember there are two parking areas) Use #HoppyBirthdayFeLeap on social networks.
Download the location map and collection form or use the online form below. Return the completed form to the Exploration Gateway at Sippo Lake Park (5712 12th St. NW, Canton 44708) or submit online by March 31, 2025. FeLeap the Frog stickers are available in the Canalway Center to anyone. One random winner from all entries will be chosen to receive a FeLeap inspired gift.

Frog Watch Training
March 8, 10 a.m. to Noon
Exploration Gateway
Identify and monitor local frog species to help protect their habitats and support conservation efforts. As a trained Frog Watch volunteer, you will be a citizen-scientist assisting with identification of local frog and toad species through calls and observations. Pre-registration required.
Adventure Kids: Home Sweet Habitats
March 19, 10 a.m. (Ages 3-5)
March 22, 11 a.m. (Ages 3-5) & 1 p.m. (Ages 6-9)
Learn about different animals and their habitats and complete a take-home craft. Pre-registration required.
