Geocaching

A real-life outdoor treasure treasure hunt using GPS-enabled devices is a great way to describing geocaching. Warning: It can be addictive!

Geocaching and letter boxing placements in Stark Parks are cool with us as long as the Geocache Letterbox Permit Application has been submitted and approved.

Cache4Coins GeoTour

Find a series of 20 different caches that have been placed across Stark County for the Cache4Coins GeoTour. Travel to peaceful reservoirs, surround yourself in acres of trees, stop by tasty and artsy attractions, and take in some local history in Stark County, Ohio. Enjoy the hidden, and not so hidden, treasures at each location to earn a commemorative coin.  The Cache4Coins GeoTour launched in 2017.

In celebration of 50 years of Stark Parks, ten FeLeap’s Favorites have been hidden in park locations. Expect more challenging hides and venture a little deeper into the park or trail. Find all of them and receive a 50th Anniversary pathtag!

Finding FeLeap’s Favorites is not required to complete Cache 4 Coins.

The first 300 participants to complete at least 17 out of 20 caches and redeem the passport will receive a commemorative, trackable geocoin.

Strolling Stark GeoTour
