Andy Haag
Andy Haag, Treasurer
Andy is a retired attorney and has volunteered in the conservation world for 25 years as a Board Member with the Wilderness Center. He received The Distinguished Service Award from The Wilderness Center in 2008. He credits his father's strong belief in volunteering and honors his memory by now giving his time and service to causes and groups.
Andy believes too many Americans suffer from ‘nature deficit disorder’ and Friends of Stark Parks works to encourage Stark County residents to spend time in nature, doing a wide variety of activities.
Andy enjoys hiking at Tam ‘O Shanter Park when staying close to home and seeing the evolution of ‘Tammy’ from a golf course to a Stark Park. He also travels to Alliance and Deer Creek Reservoir for hikes with a friend in the area.
Andy logs 3-5 miles every day hiking and walking.
