You have been asking if Healthy Adventures will ever come back! It is returning with a new twist, so plan for a 2017 full of adventure. Be one of the proud who can say, “I hiked, biked, or ran all around my Stark Parks” by challenging yourself to one or more of these healthy adventures!
Whether you want to make healthy choices, meet new friends, or simply get outside – join Healthy Adventures! Complete miles on your own, with a group, or at Stark Parks programs. Look for members-only events that will help you reach your goal.
The program runs from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2017. You can log miles from locations outside of Stark Parks. Once you have reached your Healthy Adventures mileage goal in Stark Parks, these miles can be included in your total mileage. Outside locations should be established areas like national or state parks, nature preserves, the entire Towpath Trail, county metroparks, city or township trails, rails to trails, bib races, and pop-up programs.
