Status Alert: 12th St. Closing for Road Construction
A bridge replacement project on 12th St. NW will impact traveling the West Branch Trail beginning May 22, 2017. Expect delays, detours, and trail closures while construction is in progress. A bridge under 12th St. is included in the project. A second project in Stadium Park, near Fulton Rd, will require closing the West Branch Trail south of Fulton through Stadium Park for the installation of a new sanitary sewer through Stadium Park. The closure will be effective May 22, 2017 to July 31, 2017, and periodically there after to restore Stadium Park Drive and a portion of the West Branch Trail. Stadium Park access from Fulton Rd. is to be open weekdays after 6 p.m. and on weekends.

Pass several of Canton’s biggest tourist attractions as you walk or bike along this limestone trail connecting West Park, the former Mother Goose Land, Waterworks Park, Monument Park, Stadium Park, Ink Park, and Covered Bridge Park. The trail follows the West Branch of the Nimishillen Creek.
With BikeSmart you can check out a bike at the self-service hub located near the Canton Garden Center in Stadium Park. Rentals are free with a Stark County District Library card after signing up at the library. Bikes can be rented for a small fee without a library card.
Hit the trail with your pet! Just remember that dogs must be leashed at all times, and owners must dispose of pet waste properly.
