Pike Ridge Park Opens April 11

Stark Parks is thrilled to announce the grand opening of Pike Ridge Park in Pike Township, set for Friday, April 11, from 1 to 3 p.m. with remarks beginning around 1:15 p.m. This exciting event marks the next chapter in the development of this beautiful 520-acre property, which is being transformed into a vibrant public park.
In 2023, Stark Parks entered into a 25-year development and management agreement with the City of Canton to transition the Pike Township property into a park for hikers and equestrians. Pike Ridge Park offers breathtaking views with its rolling hills and elevated vistas of the surrounding landscape, making it a perfect spot for outdoor enthusiasts to explore.
The park is home to several ponds and diverse wildlife habitats, adding to its natural charm. While the park is still under development, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy its scenic hiking and equestrian trails.
“We are excited to invite the community to explore Pike Ridge Park and experience the beauty and tranquility it has to offer,” said Dan Moeglin, Executive Director of Stark Parks. “This is just the beginning, and we look forward to continuing the development of this incredible space for everyone to enjoy.”
