Sippo Lake Marina: 330.479.2358
Located along the eastern shore of Sippo Lake, the Sippo Lake Marina is the perfect stop for park visitors wanting to fish, rent a boat or just cool off after a hike on the Sippo Lake Trail. The air conditioned marina is open from May to October. Bring your own fishing pole or boat (up to 21 ft. and 10 hp) to enjoy the accessible fishing pier and boat ramp nearby.
A wide variety of food and beverages, including hot dogs, cold drinks, ice cream, candy, and other snacks are available for sale.
The marina offers many types of live bait and tackle for sale. Night crawlers, wax worms, maggots, shiners, minnows, and more are available. Rods and reels, bait buckets, line, bobbers, sinkers are also available for purchase. Fishing licenses can be purchased at the marina. A Visa or MasterCard credit card and picture ID are needed to purchase a license (cash is not accepted). Individuals over the age of 15 must carry a fishing license and picture ID to fish in the park.
For your enjoyment, the Sippo Lake Marina offers a variety of watercraft for rent. Canoes, kayaks, row boats, motor boats, stand-up paddle boards, and pedal boats are all part of the marina’s livery. Reservations are not needed for boat rentals as they are available on a first come, first served basis.
Rental fees are calculated by the half hour. A driver’s license/ID and refundable deposit are required for all boat rentals. All rented boats must be returned no later than one hour prior to the close of the marina. Boats returned late are subject to a late fee.
Marina Hours and Prices
The Stark County Park District prohibits the use of motorized vehicles in this park and on its trails. Sections of trail may not be suitable for wheelchair access. Weather may impact the accessibility of trails, always use caution.
