Towpath Trail Construction Work in Massillon
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers began an ongoing levee project near the Tuscarawas River in August 2020. This is a long term project that will affect this section of the Towpath Trail for several years.
As of April 2023, the Towpath Trail is open on weekends only between Tremont Ave. and Lake Ave.
Warmington Rd. (John Glenn Grove) to Tremont Ave. remains closed for several more months. Please obey all construction and safety signs and be cautious of unpredictable trail conditions.
