Friends of Stark Parks invites you travel down memory lane and celebrate 25 years of contributions to Stark Parks. Over the past two and a half decades, Friends of Stark Parks has been a large contributor to Stark Parks, funding programs to enhance visitor experiences from benches and park amenities and healthy initiatives to major facility improvements, particularly the Joseph J. and Helen M. Sommer Wildlife Conservation Center.
Once a small pole building, the 9,000 square foot facility currently serves nearly 2,000 injured and orphaned native animals each year and maintains a release rate
exceeding the national average. This event benefits the continued care of wildlife at the Joseph J. and Helen M. Sommer Wildlife Conservation Center, as well as various Friends of Stark Parks initiatives. Support is needed to maintain quality wildlife care, education, and outdoor experiences. There will be a variety of silent auction items available for bidding throughout the evening and individual donations will graciously be accepted.
Thank you for your support.
