Winter Hike-a-thon

Make the most of the shortest day of the year and ring in the winter season with a Winter Hike-a-Thon!

On December 21, 2025, choose Stark Parks for your first-day-of-winter adventure and hike all day, or pick a trail or two of your choice to get a few miles in. Find the full schedule, including times and locations, below.

Registration is required for each location.

7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. - Quail Hollow Park (13480 Congress Lake Ave., Hartville) - meet by the Carriage House 

10 a.m. to Noon - Walborn Reservoir (11324 Price St. NE, Alliance) - meet at the Marina

1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. - Iron Horse Trail - First Christian Church Trailhead, (1141 W. Beech St, Alliance)

3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. - Middle Branch Trail at Veterans Park (1714 Schneider St., Canton, 44721)
