Pioneer Trail
The 1.34 mile Pioneer Trail connects Market Ave. to Cleveland Ave. in Canton. It begins near Rt. 62 and Market Ave. and travels west through Canton City’s Weis Park and along the perimeter of the Malone University Campus before ending at Cleveland Ave. The grassland habitat features several inclines and declines on a crushed limestone trail surface. The trail was built in partnership with the City of Canton, Canton City Parks and Recreation, Malone University, and Stark Parks and funded by a Clean Ohio grant through Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR).
