Fichtner Park
Enjoy hiking, fishing, picnicking, and wildlife viewing on this 13-acre park surrounded by Hartville’s shopping, dining, and small-town charm. The .40 mile gently rolling natural surface trail loops around the property with access to Hartville Kitchen and Marketplace with a small trailhead at Comfort Inn and Suites hotel. Look for butterflies, birds, deer, and fox.
The trail works its way around a small pond and through a wetland, allowing visitors a close look at birds, waterfowl, rabbits, fox, and white-tailed deer. An observation blind is located off the trail on the southern part of the loop.
