Cross-Country Skiing at Quail Hollow Park
Rentals are available at Quail Hollow Park when there’s enough snow (typically 3–4 inches). Rentals are first-come, first-served, with no registration required.
- Rates: $10 per person for 2-hour rentals
- Sizes: Equipment available for individuals 4 feet tall and up (boot sizes Youth 11.5 to Men's 14).
- Note: Trails are not groomed, and we do not make artificial snow.

Other cross-country skiing locations include Tam O'Shanter Park, Olde Muskingum Trail, Iron Horse Trail, and Nickel Plate Trail.
Snowshoeing
Snowshoeing is a fun and easy way to explore winter landscapes. Our lightweight EVA snowshoes fit shoe sizes Women’s 7 to Men’s 14, with one pair available for kids.
- Rates: $10 for adults (2 hours), $5 for children under 12

Sledding
Feel the thrill of sledding at the amphitheater hill at Petros Lake Park or other locations, including Tam O’Shanter Park, Quail Hollow Park, and Sippo Lake Park.

Ice Access:
Ice is never considered safe to walk on. Ice skating, ice fishing, and walking on ice for any reason is strictly at your own risk where ice access is permitted.
