The Exploration Gateway at Sippo Lake Park is a center of nature, culture, and life-long learning through a partnership with the Stark County District Library. A magnificent view overlooking Sippo Lake from a balcony and walk out patio compliment the flexible rooms available for banquets, weddings, professional events, retreats, luncheons, lectures, training workshops, and wedding or baby showers.
Spaces and Rooms
Our clean, modern rooms with neutral earth tones provide a distraction-free work space, a perfect canvas for your creative ideas, and a great place to celebrate an occasion.
Room A: Can accommodate up to 100 people with tables and chairs, or 215 with chairs only.
Room B: Can accommodate up to 90 people with tables and chairs, or 205 with chairs only.
Rooms A and B combined: can be opened into one large hall with a capacity of up to 200 guests with a banquet style table setup or 400 with auditorium style seating (chairs only).
Room C: Can accommodate up to 30 people with a classroom style table setup, or 50 with chairs only.
Room D: Can accommodate up to 30 people; theater style with accessible seating
The Exploration Gateway building and surrounding parkway include several environmentally-friendly features:
- Natural lighting in the Atrium and automatic lighting throughout.
- Recycled building materials.
- Energy-saving geothermal heating and cooling system.
- Parkway design that preserves native plants and wetlands and maximizes their natural role in filtering runoff water as it flows into the lake.
