The 1.34 mile Pioneer Trail connects Market Ave. to Cleveland Ave. in Canton. It begins near Rt. 62 and Market Ave. and travels west through Canton City’s Weis Park and along the perimeter of the Malone University Campus before ending at Cleveland Ave. The grassland habitat features several inclines and declines on a crushed limestone trail surface. Two areas of the trail are denoted in red and travel through parking lots. The trail was built in partnership with the City of Canton, Canton City Parks and Recreation, Malone University, and Stark Parks and funded by a Clean Ohio grant through Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR).
Parking is available at Weis Park off of Harvard Ave NW (between 25th & 30th St.)
