Summer Hike-a-Thon!
Ring in summer by hiking on June 20, 2024 (the longest day of the year) at several Stark Parks locations! You may choose to hike all day long on each guided hike or pick a few to attend.
Locations and times are as follows:
Sunrise [5:54 a.m.] to Sunset [9 p.m.]
Hike #1 6 - 8 a.m. ● Quail Hollow Park (Manor House), 2.50-3 mi.
Hike #2 9 - 10:30 a.m. ● Nickel Plate Trail (Metzger Park), 3 mi.
Hike #3 11:30 - 12:30 p.m. ● Hoover Trail (Washington Square Trailhead), 3 mi.
Hike #4 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. ● West Branch Trail (Timken Gatehouse), 3 mi.
Hike #5 3:30 - 5 p.m. ● Sippo Lake Park (Marina off Tyner St.), 3.50 - 4 mi.
Hike #6 6 - 7 p.m. ● Petros Lake Park (Perry Dr. Long Parking Lot), 2.50 - 3 mi.
Hike #7 8 - 9 p.m. ● Towpath Trail (Craig Pittman Trailhead), 1.50 - 2.50 mi
