Friends of Stark Parks Past-President and Trustee
Karl Oprisch is a 30+ year resident of Stark County and employed at Hammontree & Associates, a civil engineering and surveying firm. His three children were raised here and they enjoyed growing up with Stark Parks. Karl has been involved with Friends of Stark Parks for over 12 years and served as President for the organization.
Having quality park facilities and activities are important to Karl and motivates him to continue to serve on the board. He attributes volunteering and giving back to an organization with having a great impact both on the individual volunteer and those benefiting from the efforts.
Karl loves to hike at Sippo Lake Park and Petros Lake Park and bike on the Sippo Valley Trail and Towpath Trails.
