Spring Peeper Run/Walk

2 mile/8:30 a.m./$20 5 mile/9:15 a.m./$35 Combo option ($50) also available!
Enjoy a fun, family event celebrating the first signs of spring with the peepers chorus in the background! This beautiful course includes portions of the Towpath and Olde Muskingum Trails in Canal Fulton. The 5-mile and combo races are a great tune-up for the upcoming spring marathon and half marathon!
Swag
Participants of the 2-mile and 5-mile receive a cool shirt and medals! Post-race food is also available.
Age Categories
5-mile awards will be given to the top 5 men and women overall and the top 3 finishers in each age groups (ages 1-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44,45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-63, 64-69, 70-74, 80+).
Special awards will be given in the Combo Event.
Packet Pick Up
There will be four opportunities to pick up race packets.
March 19 – Sippo Lake parkrun event, Sippo Lake Park – 8am to 10am (5712 12th St. NW, Canton 44708)
March 23 - Second Sole in Canton on Dressler Road - 4pm to 8pm (4667 Dressler Rd., Canton 44718)
March 25 - Run to You Racing in Downtown Canton - 8am to 4pm (132 5th St NW, Canton OH 44702)
March 26 - St Helena Heritage Park - 7am to race start (123 Tuscarawas St NW, Canal Fulton OH 44614)

Friends of Stark Parks supports Stark Parks as a partner in preserving and protecting the quality of life for all who live and work in Stark County through fundraising, grant seeking, and volunteerism. One of the many FOSP fundraising efforts in 2022 will aide Stark Parks in the improvements of public water access along the Tuscarawas River. This will provide more opportunities to get out and enjoy the river in Stark County.
Friends of Stark Parks is a 501c(3), non-profit organization. Membership contributions, donations, and sponsorships may be tax deductible.
