Volunteer Spotlight: Doug
Doug Bower
Trailblazer and Healthy Adventures
“It is rewarding, jump in and do it” is the advice of Doug Bower, a Trailblazer and Let’s Ride (bicycle) volunteer. Since 2012, Doug has been promoting trail safety and leading rides on the Towpath Trail and others Stark Parks and NE Ohio trails. He is also a good person to have with you in case of a pesky flat tire or other small maintenance issue and enjoys teaching riders to become more efficient riders.
Doug has been riding for over 45 years after helping create a bike club. Nowadays, he sticks to mainly trails and always will find good food after a ride!
